Public Transportation
We constantly preach about how we are trying to reduce our carbon footprint, yet we are making it possible for our roads to accommodate more cars. Interesting, right?
Let’s focus on convenient, safe, forms of mass transportation. We should review the dollar allocation for the expansion of roads and evaluate the opportunities for building networks of interchanging forms of mass transit.
It should be noted that the current forms of Mass Transit we currently enjoy are the less then convenient subway, light rail, bus service and MARC trains. All of which are difficult to access from Baltimore and Harford counties.
